Tales of Wood is created with deep respect for the cabinetmaking craft. The manner in which the wood has been cut to expose the grain is a clear sign of the designer’s penchant for the natural material. In this way, Tales of Wood also tells the story of the yearlong process from newly planted tree to finished design.

We keep as many items as possible in stock, but there are some exceptions. Shipping and stock details below:

In Stock = The item in question is in stock, and will ship according to our regular delivery terms (usually the next day).

Out of Stock = We are all out of the item in question, and it is not available for backorder. But, hope dies last -- if you happen upon this unfortunate scenario, shoot us an email, and we'll try our best to arrange this item to you some way.

Available on Backorder = Two possible scenarios here. Either we do not have the item in our own stock, but it can be shipped just as quickly from the manufacturer, or the item is made-to-order. If the latter, it usually takes some time to craft, but you will be receiving a freshly made piece of furniture. Detailed backorder information is usually stated in the curators' notes.
